“Every once in a while a mystery author comes along that is so talented that the reader knows she has a great future ahead of her. Judith Skillings fits that bill. She has written a fabulous who-done-it that is rich in characterizations and is well plotted. Five stars (Super).

“Dead End launches Judith Skillings’s writing career. It’s a powerful debut, one that should put her on the map. Her characters are all human; their strengths and weaknesses clearly shine. . . I like a bit of realism in my stories, and Judith’s offering quickly had me hooked.

REVIEWS

“This novel is as good as the last. The author shows that Rebecca can be even more snoopy now than ever before, to the delight of her mystery readers. I cannot help but wonder just where the next corpse will appear in future books. Judith Skillings seems to have a very creative imagination as to where the most unique places are to stuff bodies. Mystery fans will enjoy every page.” Four stars (Excellent).

“So you think you want a Bentley? Think again. It could have a dead body in it and then what would you do? . . .DANGEROUS CURVES has a complex story line but it will keep the reader intrigued while it moves from 0 to 60 towards an unexpected conclusion.”
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXJaci Muzamel, The Mystery Company

“. . . an atractive novel which features an equally attractive heroine in smart, sexy, self-reliant Rebecca Moore. In the final analysis, Skillings rewards her readers with a creative and offbeat plot, an appealing and convincing heroine, and a surprising but satisfying conclusion.
I look forward to the next episode in the series.”
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX– Crescent Blues Book Reviews, Clint Hunter

“We have a very feisty independent woman in charge here. The story is well plotted with fast moving action. There is a cast of colorful and likeable characters. Delacroix and Hagan are two men any woman would like to have on her side. The romance between Rebecca and Hagan is a volatile one.”
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX– MyShelf Reviews, Barbara Buhrer

“Skillings knows everything there is to know about restoring classic cars and creating characters that skip through the pages picking up clues and fending off bad guys. Rebecca is extremely independent and goes her own way regardless of what anyone tells her to do. This is a good read.”
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXNew Mystery Reader, Donna Padilla

"If you love to drive or enjoy vintage cars, you'll want to read Judith Skillings's mysteries featuring Rebecca Moore. Skillings's latest, DANGEROUS CURVES, gives an inside view on classic car restoration and the Washington, DC sex trades.
The mystery and subplots are set early in the book and lay a nice foundation for the arc of the novel: the body in the Bentley, the alternately funny and endearing characteristics of the mechanics, the mysterious Mrs. Weatherly and the men who circle around Rebecca and vie for her attention. Threads are neatly tied by the end of the book and justice is served in a satisfying manner.
DANGEROUS CURVES is a fast and fun read.”
